Golden Globe Jewelry 2014

Sunday night’s 71st Golden Globe Awards kicked off award season with an aura of sophisticated elegance. Hollywood dressed to the nines to celebrate the best in film and television, with big wins for American Hustle, 12 Years A Slave and Breaking Bad.

What I’m most interested in, naturally, is the fashion and jewelry of the Red Carpet. As usual, a few trends emerged with actresses preferring dresses in monochromatic color palettes and understated jewelry in classic designs. A more subdued awards show than the Oscars, this year’s Golden Globes highlighted Hollywood’s dedication to being fit and showing it off with class (seriously, nearly every actress, from the youngest to the eldest, looked as fit as a fiddle in their sleek and snug sparkling dresses)!

Fred Leighton, Lorraine Schwartz, Bulgari, Chopard and KenSu Jewelry were among the night’s most dazzling jewels.
